VARIOUS TYPES OF GRANTS IN GOVERNMENT PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN GUJARAT

1. સંયુક્ત શાળા ગ્રાન્ટ (Composite School Grant)

• ઉદ્દેશ: શાળાઓના સંચાલન માટે જરૂરી મરામત, સ્વચ્છતા, અને નાના મરામતના ખર્ચ માટે.
• લાભાર્થી: પ્રાથમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર પ્રાથમિક શાળાઓ.
• ફાળવણી: શાળાની વિદ્યાર્થી સંખ્યાના આધારે ₹ 10,000 થી ₹ 1,00,000 સુધી.
• ઉપયોગ:
  • વોટર પ્યુરિફાયર, ટોયલેટ, સફાઈ સામગ્રી, બ્લેકબોર્ડ વગેરે.
  • શાળા સંચાલન માટે જરૂરી નાના મરામત ખર્ચ.

2. યુથ એન્ડ ઇકો ક્લબ ગ્રાન્ટ (Youth & Eco Club Grant)

• ઉદ્દેશ: વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં પર્યાવરણ પ્રત્યે જાગૃતતા લાવવા અને શાળામાં ઇકો-ફ્રેન્ડલી પ્રવૃત્તિઓ માટે.
• લાભાર્થી: ધોરણ 6 થી 8 અને ધોરણ 9 થી 12 ની શાળાઓ.
• ફાળવણી: દરેક શાળાને દર વર્ષે ધોરણ 1 થી 5 માટે ₹ 5,000 અને ધોરણ 6 થી 8 માટે ₹ 15000
• ઉપયોગ:
  • વૃક્ષારોપણ, શાળાના પર્યાવરણને ઉન્નત બનાવવી.
  • સ્વચ્છતા અભિયાન, પ્લાસ્ટિક મુક્ત અભિયાન.
  • પર્યાવરણ સંરક્ષણ માટે વિવિધ કાર્યક્રમો.

3. પ્રિ-વોકેશનલ બેગલેસ ડે ગ્રાન્ટ (Pre-Vocational Bagless Day Grant)

• ઉદ્દેશ: વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે બેગલેસ શિખણ દિનની આયોજન કરવા અને વ્યવહારુ શિક્ષણ પૂરુ પાડવા.
• લાભાર્થી: ધોરણ 6 થી 8 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ.
• ફાળવણી: શાળાને દર વર્ષે ₹ 14000
• ઉપયોગ:
  • વિજ્ઞાન, હસ્તકલા, કૃષિ, કંપ્યુટિંગ, અને અન્ય વ્યવસાયલક્ષી પ્રવૃત્તિઓ.
  • ઉદ્યોગો અને કારખાનાઓની મુલાકાત.

4. શાળા સલામતી ગ્રાન્ટ (School Safety Grant)

• ઉદ્દેશ: શાળાની સલામતી સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા માટે જરૂરી સુધારાઓ.
• લાભાર્થી: પ્રાથમિક અને માધ્યમિક શાળાઓ.
• ફાળવણી: દર શાળાને ₹ 2000
• ઉપયોગ:
  • આગ, ભૂકંપ અને અન્ય આપત્તિથી સુરક્ષા માટેની વ્યવસ્થા.
  • શાળાની સુરક્ષા દિવાલ અને ગેટ મરામત.
  • વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે સુરક્ષા તાલીમ.

5. ગણિત વિજ્ઞાન મંડળ ગ્રાન્ટ (Maths & Science Club Grant)

• ઉદ્દેશ: વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં ગણિત અને વિજ્ઞાન માટે રસ જાળવવા.
• લાભાર્થી: ધોરણ 6 થી 8 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ.
• ફાળવણી: શાળાને દર વર્ષે ₹ 3000
• ઉપયોગ:
  • વિજ્ઞાન પ્રયોગો, મોડલ પ્રદર્શન.
  • ગણિત અને વિજ્ઞાન ઓલિમ્પિયાડ, ક્વિઝ અને પ્રદર્શન.
  • હેન્ડ્સ-ઓન લર્નિંગ અને પ્રયોગશાળાની સુવિધાઓ સુધારવી.

6. કન્યા સ્વ-રક્ષણ તાલીમ ગ્રાન્ટ (Girls’ Self-Defense Training Grant)

• ઉદ્દેશ: છાત્રાઓને આત્મરક્ષણ માટે તાલીમ પૂરી પાડવી.
• લાભાર્થી: ધોરણ 6 થી 12 માં અભ્યાસ કરતી છાત્રાઓ.
• ફાળવણી: ધોરણ 6 થી 12 માટે દરેક શાળાને દર વર્ષે  ₹ 15000
• ઉપયોગ:
  • આત્મરક્ષણ માટે કાંટા, કરાટે અને અન્ય તાલીમ કાર્યક્રમો.
  • વ્યાવસાયિક કોચ દ્વારા તાલીમ આપવી.

7. SMC તાલીમ ગ્રાન્ટ (School Management Committee Training Grant)

• ઉદ્દેશ: શાળા વ્યવસ્થાપન સમિતિ (SMC) ના સભ્યો માટે તાલીમ આયોજન.
• લાભાર્થી: SMC ના સભ્યો અને શિક્ષકો.
• ફાળવણી: દરેક SMC માટે દર વર્ષે ₹ 3000
• ઉપયોગ:
  • SMC સભ્યો માટે શાળાના સંચાલન, બજેટિંગ અને નીતિઓની સમજ આપવા.
  • શાળાની કામગીરી સુધારવા માટે માર્ગદર્શિકા પૂરી પાડવી.

નિષ્કર્ષ:

આ ગ્રાન્ટો શિક્ષણની ગુણવત્તા સુધારવા, શાળાના માળખાકીય વિકાસ, વિદ્યાર્થીઓના સર્વાંગી વિકાસ અને શાળાની સંચાલન સમિતિના સશક્તિકરણ માટે મહત્વપૂર્ણ છે. દરેક શાળાને ગ્રાન્ટ તેના માપદંડો અનુસાર ફાળવવામાં આવે છે, અને તેનો ઉપયોગ ચોક્કસ હેતુઓ માટે જ કરવાની હોય છે.

શાળાઓમાં કોવિડ-19 અન્વયે સફાઈ કીટ વિતરણ કરવા બાબત

Subject: Matter of sending COVID - 19 Preparedness KIT to all Government Primary, Secondary, Ashram School and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, ALS Hostel in the State According to the above subject, in view of the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic, provision has been made to provide hygiene kits in all government primary, secondary, ashram schools, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and ALS hostels in the state.  

In collaboration with Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (GNFC), "COVID - 19 Preparedness KIT" of different neem products is to be delivered to all government primary, secondary, ashram schools and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, ALS hostels by the state education office.  Distribution of this kit will start from 8.2.2021.

All these kits will be delivered to the BRC Bhavan of that district from where arrangements will be made to deliver these kits to all the schools in that taluka.

Explain the matter of issuing fire safety certificate to EU.  Circular: Provision has been made by the Government to issue Fire Safety Certificate (Fire NOC) for the buildings as per the third schedule of Gujarat Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures (Amendment) Rules, 2021.  

From time to time during meetings with the Regional Fire Officer / Chief Fire Officer of the State, some difficulties are experienced in issuing fire NOC during operation at the regional level.  So that it becomes necessary to clarify the matter.  In the case of educational institutions which are mentioned in the third schedule of Gujarat Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures (Amendment) Rules, 2061, the 8th height and / or 500 sq.m.

Special clarification regarding the provision of fire safety certificate by the educational institution in case of height / area less than one or more floors, stating that the educational institution which has a height of 5 meters or more and if it has a basement, its area is more than 500 sq.m.  

In such a case, the fire safety certificate has to be obtained from the concerned fire officer as per the rules.  Apart from this, in cases where the educational institution whose height is less than 5 meters, regardless of the floor area, the manager of such educational institution has to make necessary arrangements regarding fire safety and send the self-certified certificate to the approving authority.

Circular regarding clarification regarding issuance of Fire Safety Certificate EU, dated 05/06/2021

For all types of educational institutions with a height of less than 9 (nine) meters, the manager of the educational institution has to make arrangements as per the attached check list and send the certificate to the approving authority of the co-educational institution.  

This check list will also have to be checked from time to time by the inspector of education department or other authorized officer in each district.
