HSRP took place in more than 25 thousand old vehicles: now the last date for February 15
Palanpur: All the vehicles in the district are commanded by the Supreme Court to fit the HSRP (High Security Registration Number Plate). Supreme Court has notified 5 states including Gujarat. Following that, efforts have been made by the system to put number plate on the old new vehicles promptly. In addition to the RTO office in Palanpur, the work is carried out by nine dealers. There are more than one lakh vehicles in the district, which are yet to have HSRP by February 15.
It is difficult to construct a number plate in 1.04 lakh vehicles
In the district, the implementation of HSRP in vehicles has been implemented by the RTO department since the year 2012. HSRP has been set up in 25,860 vehicles out of 1,30,543 vehicles from 2001 to 2012. While still 1,4,683 vehicles have to fit the HSRP. RTO DS Patel said that this arrangement has been created at the vehicle dealer for carrying number plate fittings. Vehicle dealers have the facility to fit HSRP number plate for people's convenience. Whereas the authorized HSRP number plate can be fitted by filling up additional service charge of Rs. 89 / - in four wheeled and four wheeled vehicles and heavy carriage up to Rs.150 / -.
RTO will continue in Saturn in Palanpur
RTO office sources said that the RTO office will continue on Saturdays and on Sunday as the purpose of filling the new number plate for the purpose of not providing trouble to drivers in Palanpur.
