Sainik School Admission Form 2023-24 : Sainik School is one of India’s most popular institutions for military students. On 21 October, 2022, the NTA announced the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2022-23 application form. Students can apply for admission to Sainik School 2022-23 online at aissee.nta.nic.in. Sainik School admission 2022-23 Class 6 is open to students aged 10 to 12 years. Students between the ages of 13 and 15 can apply for AISSEE entrance 2022-23 Class 9.

Students must attach all required papers in order to submit the Sainik school application 2022 form. In addition, they must pay Sainik school fees of Rs. 650/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST). Read on to learn more about the Sainik School Admission form 2022, the AISSEE application date, and how to apply.

Sainik School Admission 2023-24 exam will be conducted on 09 January 2023. The application form will release on 27 September 2022. NTA is the conducting body of the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) scheduled to be held on 09 January 2023. Sainik School Admissions take place for the Class VI and Class IX for the academic year through AISSEE. The final selection in the school is based on school-wise, class-wise, category-wise rank in the merit list of the Entrance examination. Candidates also need to submit the medical fitness report approved by competent Medical authorities. A student is allowed to apply for admission to only one Sainik School for the admission. Sainik School Admission 2023 Official: Eligibility Criteria

Before filling up the AISSEE application form, candidates must check their Sainik School eligibility criteria. The Sainik School eligibility criteria for class 6 and class 9 admissions are listed below:

Sainik School Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria For Class 6

1. Students must be 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2023.

2. Students should have completed Class 5 from a recognised school.

3. Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. The age criteria for the girls are similar to that of boys.

Sainik School Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria For Class 9

1. Candidates must be 13 to 14 years as of March 31, 2023.

2. Candidates applying for Class 8 admissions must have completed Class 9 from a recognised school.

3. Gender– Only boys can apply for Class 9 admission.

Sainik School Admission 2023: Application Form Correction Window 

Students are advised to apply before the Sainik School admission 2022-23 the last date expires in order to have time to do any rectifications. Candidates will be able to make corrections to any of the details submitted during the Application Process through the Sainik School correction window form. Candidates can also replace the documents which were already uploaded. The Sainik School correction window was open from October 21 to November 30, 2022, at the official website of AISSEE: aissee.nta.nic.in.

The steps to make corrections in the Sainik School Admission Form are listed below:

• Visit the official website of NTA AISSEE – aissee.nta.nic.in
• Click on the button “Application Form Correction – AISSEE 2023”.
• Enter Application No, Password, Security Pin as displayed.
• Click on the “Sign In” button.
• If you have entered any incorrect details or uploaded the incorrect documents, make the necessary changes.
• Re-submit the AISSEE 2023 Application Form.

General/Wards of Defence personnel and ex-servicemen/OBC(NCL)*as per central list - Rs 650/-(Rupees six hundred and fifty only)

Sainik School Selection Process 2023

The selection procedure for Sainik School admissions in 2023 consists of two primary stages: a written test and a medical exam.

Students who complete the admission form are required to take a written exam. Following the announcement of the Sainik School admissions result for 2023, chosen candidates will be asked for a medical test.

The institutions publish the final merit list based on a student’s performance in both the written and medical tests taken together. After document verification, selected candidates will be admitted to their respective Class VI or IX.

In the event of a tie, the following factors are considered while producing the Sainik School merit list:

• In the event of a tie in overall marks between two applicants, the one who scored higher in Maths is chosen.
• If the tie remains, marks from the English and Intelligence Tests for classes IX and VI will be considered.
• If the tie remains unresolved, the results of the General Science paper in Class IX and the Language paper in Class VI will be examined.
• If there is still a tie, the candidate with the younger age will be given a seat.

Sainik School Admission 2023 Admit Card 

The AISSEE admit card will be released by NTA in an online mode.

• The registered candidates can enter the details required and access the admit card.
• Candidates need to download and take the print of the admit card for further use.
• It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card at the examination centre.
• No one will be allowed to enter the examination hall without it.
• A lot of information is available on the admit card such as the name of the candidate, exam time, date, venue, etc.
• In case of a discrepancy in the admit card, candidates must inform the concerned authority immediately. 

Sainik School 2023-24 Exam Centres

Students will get the choice to choose the examination cities from the given list in the Sainik School application form 2023.

The exam conducting authorities will allot the examination centres on a first come first serve basis. The complete details of the Sainik school examination centre 2023 along with the address will be mentioned on the Sainik School admit card 2023-24.

Sainik School Admission 2023 Answer Key 

After the conclusion of the exam, the AISSEE answer key will be released at the official site in an online mode. Candidates can check their answers entered in the exam to the official answer key.

The official answer key holds the correct responses to the questions asked in the exam. Hence before the declaration of the result, candidates get an estimated score in the exam.

If at any point, candidates doubt the official answer key then they can challenge the key by paying Rs 200 per answer. The fee is non-refundable. After solving the issue, the final answer key is released. 

Sainik School Admission 2023 Result & Merit List

The declaration of the result takes place in an online mode at the official site of AISSEE. The result is out of the respective schools. NTA prepares the result school-wise and category-wise merit list (separately for boys and girls and for Class VI and Class IX).

The initial call list will be published before the medical exam. Thus after the medical exam, the final merit list is prepared. If the candidates scored the same marks then inter-se- merit is applied.
